The Stone Barn retains all its character and integrity with ragslate roof, slate floors, original timbers, bespoke doors and windows and high quality master craftsmanship and attention to detail of our local workforce evident everywhere you look. Beer Mill is a private nature reserve, east of the village of Clawton, mainly on the side of a valley sloping down to the Claw river, a tributary of the Tamar.
The entire farm covers 130 acres of various habitats including culm grassland, pasture, scrub,ancient broadleaf and newly planted woodland, quarry and wetland habitats including a variety of ponds and stream. Beer Mill has won gold awards from Devon Wildlife Trust since 2003 for working for the benefit of Devons wildlife.
